AI Transparency

Some parts of this website are produced with the help of AI tools. This page explains where and how – for reasons of transparency, even where no legal labelling obligation applies.

Where we use AI – and where we do not

Images

Selected illustrations, in particular on the application pages, were created with generative AI systems and serve purely illustrative purposes. They do not depict real products, persons or places. Such images are labelled as "AI-generated" close to where they appear. Product photos and datasheet figures supplied by the manufacturers are not AI-generated.

Translations

The website is available in 12 languages. The non-German versions are produced with the help of machine translation tools (AI-assisted) and subjected to editorial review. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.

Product descriptions

AI tools support us in the creation and maintenance of product texts. All content is subjected to editorial review prior to publication and checked for technical accuracy against the manufacturer datasheets.

How we ensure quality

AI tools are an aid for us, not the final authority. Every AI-assisted piece of content undergoes editorial review prior to publication. Technical specifications are cross-checked against the original manufacturer datasheets. Translations are reviewed for factual consistency and industry-standard terminology.

Editorial responsibility under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act is held by Dion Gallinat, bq-microwave GmbH & Co. KG.

Legal framework

The European AI Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 – the "EU AI Act") sets out transparency obligations for the use of certain AI systems in Article 50. The central transparency obligations apply from 2 August 2026. We implement the applicable requirements and, in individual cases, go beyond what is legally required on a voluntary basis.
