Which waveguide sizes do you carry?

Accepted Answer

From WR-2300 (0.32–0.49 GHz) to WR-0.65 (1100–1700 GHz). All common WR standards in between are available – WR-430, WR-90, WR-42, WR-28, WR-15, WR-10, WR-5, WR-3, WR-2.2, WR-1.5, and WR-1.0.

Up to which frequency do your waveguide components extend?

Accepted Answer

From very low frequencies up to 1.7 THz. We cover the complete spectrum – from classic industrial applications in the low GHz range to sub-THz research, spectroscopy, and imaging.

Which flanges are standard?

Accepted Answer

UG flanges, UBR flanges, and IEEE-1785-compliant precision flanges. For higher frequencies (from WR-10 onward), we supply with UG-387 or custom flange designations.

Do you supply custom waveguide lengths or twists / bends?

Accepted Answer

Yes, custom straight lengths are possible up to 1.7 THz. We supply bends and twists up to 750 GHz, also in split-block design (robust cube versions) for higher mechanical requirements.

Which materials are available?

Accepted Answer

Standard is aluminum and copper; gold-plated inner walls (for low loss) as well as silver-plated surfaces are also available. Stainless steel versions for corrosive or vacuum environments upon request.
