Double Balanced Mixer up to 67 GHz

Double Balanced Mixer 25-67 GHz

The AT-MIX-2567A is a wideband double balanced mixer covering the mmWave spectrum from 25 to 67 GHz. Built on GaAs MMIC architecture, this mixer addresses the requirements of modern communication and test applications operating in the Ka, V, and E bands.

Technical Specifications

  • Frequency Range: RF/LO 25-67 GHz, IF DC-30 GHz
  • Conversion Loss: Typical 15 dB at IF = 100 MHz
  • LO Drive Power: Minimum +8 dBm, typical +10 dBm
  • Port Isolation: LO-to-RF up to -30 dB, LO-to-IF up to -25 dB, RF-to-IF up to -15 dB
  • Connectors: 1.85 mm female (RF/LO), 2.92 mm female (IF)
  • Housing: Gold-plated copper, 80 g weight
  • Supply Voltage: Fixed gate supply -2V with integrated LDO

Application Areas

  • 5G & mmWave Communication: Transceiver modules for next-generation wireless infrastructure and backhaul systems
  • Radar Systems: High-frequency signal processing for automotive, defense, and aerospace radar applications
  • SATCOM: RF Over Fiber infrastructure links and satellite ground station equipment
  • Test & Measurement: Broadband instrumentation and communication platform development

The double balanced architecture suppresses unwanted harmonic and spurious signals, enabling clean frequency conversion in both upconversion and downconversion configurations. This characteristic is particularly valuable in systems requiring high spectral purity and dynamic range performance.

The AT-MIX-2567A combines low conversion loss, minimal LO drive requirements, and superior port isolation in a compact, robust housing suitable for space-constrained applications.
