bq-microwave expands its Vaunix portfolio with a programmable 8-channel phase shifter: the LPS-402-8 Lab Brick provides calibrated phase control from 2–4 GHz across eight independent channels – with a 360° range and a fine 1.0° step size, controllable via USB or Ethernet.
What does a programmable phase shifter do?
A phase shifter delays the phase of an RF signal in a defined, repeatable way. When several channels are set independently, this enables beam forming and phased-array antennas: the phase of each channel steers the direction of the radiated beam electronically. The LPS-402-8 is solid-state, digital and bidirectional – with eight channels in a compact, USB-powered package.

Operating modes & software
The LPS-402-8 is controlled through a native USB-HID interface or Ethernet (Static IP or DHCP). It supports Manual Phase Control, Swept Phase (uni-/bi-directional, once or repeated) and Phase Profiles. It ships with a GUI, Windows and Linux SDK, LabVIEW driver and Python examples; the expansion bus lets you link multiple units.
