bq-microwave offers two specialized development kits from TMYTEK designed for 5G mmWave beamforming and frequency conversion applications. The UD Kit provides integrated up/down conversion for RF engineers, while the Developer Kit delivers a complete platform for beamforming research and antenna characterization in the 5G FR2 spectrum.
UD Kit: Frequency Conversion Solution
The UD Kit combines TMYTEK's UDBoard with a precision signal generator, enabling seamless translation between intermediate and RF frequencies across the 5G spectrum.

- IF Bandwidth: 2.6 GHz – 5.8 GHz
- LO Frequency: 4.75 GHz – 6.75 GHz with x4 multiplier
- Conversion Performance: Tx gain 11.5 dB | Rx gain 8 dB
- Signal Generator: 180 MHz – 18 GHz, 10 kHz resolution
- Control Interface: Python-based programming and manual switch operation
